Do you want fries with that?

The legos have been spread out on the floor for about a week now. We've dabbled in them a bit. I've never been much for creative play with legos...give me a plan, and I can build it. Give me a box of miscellaneous legos, and I don't know what to build. My hubby, on the other hand, has great imagination when it comes to them. Jenna & K sat down and built this gem...

Jenna wanted to build it because she said it is my favorite place to eat. Too funny!

I was going to scrapbook tonight but instead got involved with this little home decor project. I love meaningful quotes, and Target came out with some rub-on ones for the wall. They are actually made by DieCuts with a View, a very popular scrapbook company. I gave it a try tonight. It was tricky to put up, but I really do love the effect. Such a nice reminder...

I got another for my scrapbook room. It says "A day without laughter is a day wasted". Another good reminder. Sometimes it helps to see it in black and white.

It's just a little over 3 months for our Disney vacation. I am so excited about the whole trip. My parents are going down also, and my sister is also considering it. It would be great to have everyone go on a family vacation. Lots of Magical Memories to be made. I am going to buy some new clothes for the trip. I have been wearing the same clothes for a few years now...and I have the scrapbook albums to prove it! I looked at several vacation albums over the past couple years and I'm wearing the same outfits. I think it is time to splurge on some new clothes!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Cinderella's not going to the ball after all

I was all psyched up to go on a business trip to California. I was iffy about flying but got all of my reservations set and my suitcase out. I got a manicure, pedicure, and a hair cut. I didn't want them to think I just crawled out from under a rock ;) My boss called today to let me know that the trip has been rescheduled. Oh well, at least I got some pampering!

K got back from his male-bonding trip to Las Vegas. I think he had a pretty good time. He went to the Star Trek experience with some friends. He brought Jenna home this shirt and teddy bear.

Live Long and Prosper!
